This letter confirms that the Internal Revenue Service has determined the Red Dragons Veterans Association to be a tax deductible and tax-exempt organization under IRS code section 501 (c) 19. Most people have seen references to section 501 (c) 3 which deals with charitable organizations. Section 501 (c) 19 sets the requirements for veterans organizations, which are also stated in the letter below.
